League Anthem

Privacy Policy

Effective October 4, 2026

This policy explains what League Anthem ("we", "us"), operated by League Anthem at leagueanthem.com, collects, why, and who we share it with. League Anthem turns a fantasy football league's weekly results into a comedy song and recap page, and can text the link to league members.

Who this covers

  • Commissioners: people who create an account, connect a league and (optionally) pay.
  • League members: people in a commissioner's league. Members don't create accounts; they can sign up for texts themselves and open recap links.

What we collect

From commissioners

  • Account details: name and email address, handled by our sign-in provider.
  • Payment records: amount, date and Stripe customer/payment identifiers. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them.

From your fantasy platform

  • Public league data from Sleeper: league and team names, manager display names and avatars, rosters, matchups, scores and player stats.

Information commissioners add about members

  • Names or nicknames, and "League Lore" (inside jokes and notes).

From members who sign up for texts

  • The mobile number they enter on their league's sign-up page, and which league member they are.
  • A record of their consent: when they submitted the form and when they confirmed by replying YES.

From texting

  • Delivery status of each text, and replies such as STOP, START or HELP, which we use to manage opt-outs.

What we create

  • Weekly analysis, lyrics, songs and recap pages generated from the data above.

Technical data

  • Essential cookies to keep commissioners signed in, and server logs (such as errors and request times) to run and secure the service. We don't use advertising cookies or sell data.

How we use it

  • To import leagues, generate recaps and songs, and publish recap pages.
  • To text recap links to members who agreed to receive them, and to honor opt-outs.
  • To process payments, prevent abuse (for example, limiting free previews) and provide support.

Text messages and your mobile number

Members sign up themselves on their league's sign-up page, then receive one text asking them to reply YES. We only send recap texts after they reply YES. Messages are about one per week during the fantasy season, plus a link when a commissioner shares a recap. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. A STOP opts the number out of every league on League Anthem.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Phone numbers are only passed to our SMS provider to deliver the messages you signed up for.

Who we share data with

We use these service providers to run League Anthem. They process data on our behalf, only for these purposes:

  • Vercel: hosting, and storage of generated songs.
  • Neon: our database.
  • Clerk: commissioner sign-in.
  • Stripe: payments.
  • Twilio: sending and receiving texts (receives phone numbers and message content).
  • OpenAI: writing lyrics. Receives league results, names, nicknames and League Lore, never phone numbers or emails.
  • Mureka: generating music. Receives the lyrics and a style description.
  • Sleeper: we read public league data from Sleeper's API; we don't send them your data.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the service.

Recap pages

Each recap page has a long, random link and is hidden from search engines. Anyone with the link can open it, so share it with your league, not publicly, if you want it private. Recap pages never show phone numbers.

How long we keep it

  • Account, league and recap data: until the commissioner deletes the league or account, or asks us to.
  • Deleting a league removes its members, phone numbers, lore and recaps.
  • Payment records: as long as needed for accounting and legal obligations.
  • A minimal record of free previews and opt-outs, so limits and STOP requests keep working.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing support@leagueanthem.com. Members can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, and can ask us to delete their number. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU), you may have additional rights; we'll honor them.

Children

League Anthem isn't intended for children under 13, and commissioners must be 18 or older.

Security

We use encrypted connections, store secrets only on our servers, verify webhooks, and limit access to data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, notify commissioners by email.
